Mindy, post-happy on this grey afternoon/evening

Uh....

I've tried to find the first chapter from Single Girl you say is on line. Three times now. It takes me to the first chapter of Girl's Guide. [I thought it sounded familiar as I started reading....]

Yikes! Should be fixed now... (Thanks for the heads-up!)
It works fine now. But it's my bedtime by now(school day tomorrow), so I will have to wait to read it until sometime tomorrow evening.

Now it's been read.

(whimper)

September, you say?

LOL. Come on now - time flies! You'll be so busy with your summer vacation that you'll hardly realize the days are going by! :-)
Mindy-- the new cover is beautiful, but what color is it really? I can't tell from online photos.
::pout:: On my computer, the color translates well; I'd hoped it would do so elsewhere. (*%#$^( technology!

The basic cover is a bright pink, which has been infused with a bit of purple. There are bookshelves on the front cover, with orange books on them (the same orange that is the basic color for GIRL'S GUIDE). Jane is sitting on the arm of a purple (mauve-ish) chair, and Neko is sitting on a stack of books in the same tone.

Maureen Dowd would hate, hate, hate this cover! :-)

Actually, that's pretty much what I saw. I love the background color! I guess my real question was: was I seeing it correctly? So often photos online are off, as I usually find out when I order an item of clothing because I love the color and it arrives looking totally different.
Ah... No, the colors are pretty true online. When I selected a "filler" color for the image placeholder on the webpage (the box that loads first, before the picture loads, for people with slower connections), I had to choose a shade that was a bit more pink than the actual cover, but that was only because I was rushing things and wanted to stick with 256 color palette.

Once the filler is replaced by the image, the color is pretty close to true on my machine!
