NaNoWriMo

Nope - not me.  I'm not doing NaNoWriMo (although I did enjoy my own little stint of PerNoWriMo (Personal Novel Writing Month) this past August...  Instead, I'm going to spend November working on some novel proposals, completing edits on SORCERY and other literary housekeeping type items.

For those of you rolling up your sleeves, though - good luck!  And if you want to post here and tell us what you're writing, I'd love to hear about it!

Mindy, energized by autumn, but not *that* energized.  This year.

I'm taking the plunge this year. I've never written anything novel-length, but I have a story that will probably end up novella-length, which is perfect. It's a YA fantasy.
Good luck!
Thanks, Mindy! I can use all the luck I can get.

This is my first year so we'll see how I do. I'm writing historical fantasy set in pre-Revolutionary New Jersey. I wrote 1100 words this morning before work, and I've got a goal of at least 2000 words a day.
Sounds interesting! Good luck!

I'm NaNoing

This will be my third year of NaNo. My opus is entitled "Chameleon." A recent college grad tries to shed her skin and form a new persona, only her best talent is blending in. Blending in, she discovers, leads to trouble at work and at home.

On a side note -- I picked-up the first two titles in the Glasswright series and Girl's Guide last month and plan to post reviews this month.

Awesome books.

Re: I'm NaNoing

Thank you for the kind words! Good luck - I love your tagline!
Being obviously glutton for punishment, I signed up for NaNo twice. Mmmm, stress and hair-pulling.

Anyhow, good luck on all the new kitchen-ry and whatnots. ♥
Twice this year?!? Or 50K now, piling on 50K earlier? Good luck!
It's more like writing two 50k stories at once. It's... interesting.

It is fun, but I think I'll be bald by the end of the month and I won't even have time to celebrate my 21st birthday. ;)

Thank you!

your book

I am not an avid reader. In fact I don't like to read. I delete most of my mail from friends and family because its to long. But your book I can't put it down. I just bought it a few days ago, I'm almost done with it. I don't know what i'm going to do when I finish it. I cant wait till your next book comes out.

Re: your book

Thank you for your kind words! I know a lot of people who find it hard to make it all the way through a book - I'm glad that mine resonated for you! Let me know if you pick up anything interesting, to fill the gap till SORCERY in 2007!
I just finished Girl's Guide to Witchcraft last night. I was excited to see that you have a sequel planned, but I have to wait almost a full year?!?! Oh no! How could you do this to me? ;) I thoroughly enjoyed the book and know that it will be torture waiting for the next one.
Thanks for your kind words! I always love to torture new friends :-)
