Guess what I now own? My copy of Girl's Guide arrived in the local bookstore and I now am eyeing it covetously, counting on it to spur me to finish revisions so that I have permission to read. Yummo!

I am honored to be considered a writing incentive! :-)

And, Di, that is a *really* cool icon!
Yeah, found it on my computer from *long* ago. No idea why I had it but thought, hey! I still need another icon or too. Here's the other latest.

Purchased and have read girl's guide, it was great!.

As I often do with an author I am unfamiliar with, I immediately looked up other books by the same author, and found the glasswright series.

My one regret is that I have been unable to find them in ebook format, so I had to get in my car and drive the 30 min to the bookstore to see if they had them in stock. They did, except (of course) for the first book. I have placed an order for it but was disappointed to learn that it would be several weeks before i could enjoy this new series.

I would love to be able to own these books in ebook format, regardless of wether or not I own a print copy. I realize this may not be the majority view, but if enough people give their opinion, we might see some release of previously released books being re-released to the public in this format.

At lease that's my 2 cents worth.

Again, loved the new book can't wait to read the old ones.

Re: ebook

Thank you for your kind words about GIRL'S GUIDE, and for taking the time to track down the Glasswrights Series!

When an author sells a novel to a publisher, the publisher purchases a number of related rights including - usually - the right to publish e-books. Roc has that right, but has never chosen to exercise it, so that the Glasswrights Series is not available electronically. Fortunately, Red Dress Ink *has* exercised its right to make e-books of GIRL'S GUIDE, along with an audio version that should be available Real Soon Now :-)

Of course, I'll pass on your interest in Glasswrights e-books to Roc!

Mindy, alas, not hopeful that there will be changes in the *near* future on that front
