Happy 2013!
Yeah. Um, I was going to post on January 1, wishing you all a lovely new year, and asking about your resolutions.
And then I was going to post on January 2, sharing some exciting news about the books I have floating around out there.
And then I was going to post on January 3, with witty and entertaining stories about life in Klaskyville.
Instead, I got sucked into the Endless Chain of Edits on a project that I’ve been fiddling with for the past 175 years. Okay, it hasn’t been 175 years. It just seems that way.
In any case, I finally hit “Send” on the Endless Chain of Edits yesterday evening (and then had an actually somewhat healthy frozen pizza for dinner, instead of the lovely, fresh-veggie-laden meal I had planned, because really, 8:00 is too late to start preparing dinner.)
So, now I’m here. And I’m still going to write those other posts, at least the bits of them that are still interesting and relevant. But in the meantime, I’m going to send you over to Magical Words.
Why Magical Words? Well, I’ve been posting there on a once-a-month basis for a couple of years, and I loved it so much that I *leaped* at the opportunity to start posting on a more regular basis (about three times a month, always on Fridays).
What is Magical Words? It’s a website by writers for writers (and readers who want a behind-the-scenes peak at the process of writing.) Regular posters include David B. Coe, Faith Hunter, Misty Massey, and Kalayna Price, with regular guest posts from Lucienne Diver, Diana Pharaoh Francis, C.E. Murphy, and Carrie Ryan. I think that Magical Words is one of the best communities I’ve found on the Web. Will you stop by to visit?
