Bookstore Check

Tonight, we went to the Proposal Borders (site of my first date with Mark, and site of his proposal to me), to check out some new books, spend too much on specialty coffees, and generally hang out.

I signed stock while I was there. I was pleased to see that they had all the volumes of The Glasswright Series. I was *thrilled* to see that APPRENTICE is in its tenth printing, that PROGRESS AND JOURNEYMAN are in their fourth printings, and that MASTER is in its second.

Having purchased four books, I'm now home, catching up on LJ, and not-watching hockey.

The Borders I frequent usually has the entire series in stock as well :)
Glad to hear it! (I find that most Borders are better-stocked with my books than most B&N - but I find that, overall, B&N seems to keep fewer books on shelf...)
It's funny, I work @ Borders (in the cafe), but I have less time to look at books than before I worked there! I must remedy this... ^__^
where is that store?
Sorry - I'm playing LJ catchup today...

The store is the Borders in Bailey's Crossroads (technically, I believe, in Fairfax, Virginia.) The night we went on our first date, we ended up there after dinner. There was a horrific flute quintet playing in the cafe, and we were forced to take our coffee drinks back into the computer book section, so that we could hear each other talk. Mark proposed to me there, about ten months later. Which store do you work in?
Hmmm, if I should ever go there, I could get my employee discount! Oooo... :)

I work at the Borders in Annapolis, in the cafe.
