I've deleted the entry on health insurance from yesterday.  While there were some excellent questions raised, there were also some entries that implied that my goal is to eat children, abuse women, and make grown men cry.

I'm more comfortable avoiding hot button topics on this journal - sorry to have led any of you astray, who took the time to post.

I'm glad I missed the debacle, but sad that it turned into one.

Sometimes things said in innocence can spark the worst debates ...

My LJ is friends-only and I still find myself "padding" posts with moderating words whenever I want to express an opinion that someone might disagree with. Even though the jerks who always picked on me can no longer read the journal in question.
