Halloween in June

Hey, folks in the Washington, DC area!  I'm doing an event related to GIRL'S GUIDE TO WITCHCRAFT on June 9!

Here are the details:

Place:    Christmas Attic
                125 S Union St
            Alexandria, VA 22314
            (703) 548-2829
             www.christmasattic.com

Time:   3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

What:   Christmas Attic is a wonderful little store in Old Town Alexandria.  While it (duh!) specializes in Christmas goods, its second-biggest event is Halloween.  We've decided to celebrate Halloween in June, with a reading from GIRL'S GUIDE TO WITCHCRAFT.  I'll also sign books, of course.  I'll have prizes for everyone who attends!

Actually, I wouldn't mind crossing the river to hear you read but unfortunately Anne's graduation party is that day. If you see me in Alexandria at your event, it means she flunked English or Spanish and didn't graduate.

LOL - Congrats to you and to Anne! (And, despite the fact that this event will feature door prizes and virgin mojitos, I suspect that you would be nonplussed by my reading - let's face it, you could recite it *with* me by now!)

Hey Other Karen!

I haven't scheduled the October reading(s) yet - there will definitely be one at the Christmas Attic, and I'm almost positive that the date for it is October 20. I also hope/intend/plan to do one at Borders (18th and L), but I haven't set it up yet. I'll post here and on my website when I have that up and running!
